Dance Star of the Year....

   The look, attitude, and desire to be the best dancer you can be!

Look:  The student wears a leotard, tights (skirt or shorts) to every class.
The student has long hair pulled back in ponytail/bun or away from face
when entering the classroom. The student wears the appropriate shoes for
each class. 

Attitude:  The student has a positive attitude toward dance. The student
is quiet and attentive during class and shows respect to the teacher
and others in the classroom.

Desire to learn:  The student is always eager to learn new dance steps. 
 The student takes instruction very well by applying corrections immediately 
and maintains the corrections at future classes (never has to be told 
more than a couple of times to correct something like pointing, proper
hands and or arms, etc.). The student practices at home.

Student of the Year Award (only one student selected per year): 
The student who has shown the most improvement in appearance,
attitude, desire to learn, and physical ability within their dance
level, during the year receives recognition and trophy at the spring recital.
