October Dance Notes:
It is time to get your recital tights ordered!!
Recital Tights: I have a few tights left in stock –
child sizes XSC-3, SC-1, LC-8, $9.77 each. Price includes tax. Just let me know
what size you want and how many and I will charge your account and hand them out at class.

Navigating the store:
* Log in - you can use the same password as your Parent Portal if you like.

All students will be wearing the suntan tights for the Christmas show.
Music: music is now on the website so students can practice their dances at home. Go to the Class Schedule page, click on song name to download music.
Christmas Attic – Extra Practice Schedule
Our Christmas Attic production (those in first half of show) will have two or more classes performing together during their song. These classes will need to practice together prior to performance to make the rehearsal and show go more smoothly and so each child understands who they are dancing with and where to go on the stage.
There is NO charge for these extra practices!! Please try to attend as many of these extra practices as possible.
All students will continue to attend their weekly regular classes.
The extra practice schedule will be sent to you via separate email.

Mark Your Calendar:
October 13th: Christmas Recital T shirt order deadline. An order form will be on the wall of the waiting room. I will only accept orders from this sheet – please do not email/text or call with your order. All T-shirts $20.04 (includes tax), XXL shirts $22.24. Auto Pay will run on 10/13. Recital T shirts are a great way to let people know about your child’s upcoming performance, and to wear over your costume when attending pictures, rehearsal, and show. I will have the T shirt design posted in the waiting room.
November 18th: Recital Pictures. A schedule will be posted later.
November 21st thru 24th: Studio closed for Thanksgiving break.
December 8th: Dress Rehearsal for those in the 2nd half of show, “Let it Snow”, at The Granada Theatre, 6:00 p.m. dressed and ready for your first dance. More info will be given closer to time.
December 9th: Dress Rehearsal for those in the 1st half of the show, “The Christmas Attic”, at The Granada Theatre,12:30 p.m., dressed and ready for your first dance. More info will be given closer to time. Show starts at 7:00 p.m.
December 11th thru January 1st: Studio closed for Christmas break.
January 2nd: Spring 2024 classes begin this week.
March 11th thru 15th: Studio closed for Spring Break
May 24 & 25: Spring Rehearsal and Recital
The studio does NOT follow the school schedule except for Labor Day, Christmas Break, and Spring Break.

Dance Fees: Monthly statements are sent via separate e-mail. Those on Auto Pay will still get a statement so that you know the amount that will be withdrawn from your account on the first day of each month. Please let me know ASAP if you do not receive your statement. Auto Pay only runs once a month. If your account is declined on the 1st, then you will need to pay by cash, check, or one time online payment.
Your October dance fees cover classes held: October 3rd – October 30th.
Dance Fees are due by the close of the business on the 5th of each month. A late fee of $10.00 is added to all past due accounts. Accounts past due as of the 10th of the month: your child will not be allowed to participate in class until the account is paid in full unless PRIOR arrangements have been made with me.
Weekly Classroom requirement: ALL students MUST wear a leotard (any style/color) or a lycra athletic tank top. They may wear tights or leggings, shorts (spandex/stretch only), or a skirt (elastic waist only). Long hair MUST be pulled up in a ponytail or bun. Short hair must have bangs pinned back. They are to wear the correct shoes for each class they participate in.
I now have an online dancewear store through Revolution Dancewear called Nimbly. You may purchase anything shown in the store, however I do have specific items approved for classroom wear. See Below.
